Steve Bruce

Donald (Steve) Bruce, Custodian

“Steve” as he is known by his friends and associates was born in Atlanta, Georgia in 1954 and lived the majority of his life in Charlotte, North  Carolina where he graduated high school in 1974.  He served in the U.S.  Air Force from 1976 to 1984 as an aircraft avionics technician.

In 1985 Steve began a career in electronics assembly and test with the IBM Corporation in Charlotte that spanned a period of 11 years.  He relocated to Indiana in 1996 and joined the staff of FUMC in April of 2004 where he serves as a assistant custodian.

Steve is an avid member of the Eastside Church of  God where he met and married his wife Patricia in 2004. Combined they have five children and five grandchildren.  Steve has completed several semesters at Ivy Tech College where his studies have included psychology, writing, and math.
