It's that time again...
Administrators, teachers, and students are all heading back to school. During the month of August, we want to FOCUS on showing our love, care, and support for all who are heading back to school. There are a variety of ways you can help us to bless our students, teachers, administrators, and support staff this month.
This year as our college students head back to school, we would like to “shower” them with gifts cards. If you would like to make a monetary donation for the purchase of these gift cards, please write “College Gift Cards” on your check or giving envelope. You can also donate online by using the “College Gift Cards” tab. These donations will be collected through August 15th.
Last year we asked you to help us bless the teachers of Anderson Elementary by sending notes of encouragement. This year, we invite you to bless the students and teachers in our own congregation with notes of encouragement.
One of the ways everyone can bless those returning to school is to pray! Each week we will offer a special prayer of blessing for students, teachers, and administrators. You are encouraged to continue praying daily for these persons.
August 1st Pray for ALL returning to school
August 8th Pray for teachers, administrators, and support staff
August 15th Pray for elementary, middle school, and high school students
August 23rd Pray for college students
August 30th Pray for parents of all students
