Aimed at 6th-12th grade students, Pulse meets most Sunday evenings from 5pm-7:30pm during the school year. We begin each Pulse with a meal, a bible-based curriculum and several games.
The mission of the Anderson First UMC Youth Ministry is to provide a safe environment for teens to be formed as compassionate disciples of Jesus Christ through fellowship, worship, service, practice, and education.
As a teenager, you are invited to be connected and participate in the body of the Church and serve as role models for your generation. Together, we are the hands and feet of Jesus.
Pulse is our weekly youth group for all students in 6th - 12th grade. We meet together on Sundays from 4:30-6:30 upstairs in the Youth Room. We share a meal, worship, have a lesson and discussion, and play a lot of games. Pulse is a time for teens to be together, ask questions, make memories, laugh, explore ways of worship, be silly, reflect, connect with adults in the church, and grow in their Christian journey.
The youth ministry has monthly special events such as Color Wars, Super Bowl Party, Ice Skating, and Escape Rooms. Take a look at the calendar or check out Anderson First UMC Youth Ministry Facebook page to see events are coming up!
