Prayer First

PrayerFirst2022

“Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful." Colossians 4:2

We know the importance of prayer, but at times we forget to pray. As we begin the New Year, we want to invite you to make prayer a priority. On Sunday, January 2, we launched a new prayer ministry here at Anderson First. There are a variety of ways to participate in
this ministry.

• Each Sunday the chapel will be open prior to worship for you to enter and pray. A prayer guide and list of needs to be prayed for will be provided. Please be sure to take this prayer guide and list with you so that you can continue to pray for the needs listed throughout the week.

• Each month a new interactive prayer station will be placed in the chapel for you to experience not only on Sunday mornings, but throughout the week.

• In February, we will begin gathering in person to pray together for the needs our church and community. Details about these prayer gatherings will be available soon.

• For those who are interested, contact Pastor Peggy Nunley to receive a weekly prayer request list via email so that you can continue to pray for the needs of our church.

We hope 2022 will be a year that Anderson First UMC remembers to put prayer first!
